• The participant is required to design a rocket made from 2litre soft drink bottles that can be propelled by pressurized  air.

• The design of the nose and fins is up to the participant. Creative designs are most welcome.  

• Two attempts will be given to complete the task successfully.  

• A maximum of 3 members per Team can participate.  

• Two designs per Team will be allowed. (REGARDLESS OF THE DESIGN, ONLY TWO ATTEMPTS PER            TEAM WILL BE ALLOWED)  

• The launch pad will be provided by the organizer with a fixed launch angle of 45 °.  

• The pressure and amount of water to be filled will be provided by the organizer  

• Only unadulterated tap water provided by the Organizer should be used.  

• There will be round one and round two  

• Team qualify in first round will enter the second round 

• Result will be based on juries. Their decision is final.

Round 1

• First round based on the distance travelled by the water rocketry from the launching point.        

• Round 1 has two attempts.

Round 2

• Second round based on the time until rocket strikes the ground from the time of launch.       

• Round 2 has only one attempt.
